Minister, Bahraini Counterpart Tour Doha Metro, Hamad Port
Minister of Transport H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Mohammed Al Thani today met with Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications of the Kingdom of Bahrain H.E. Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.Bilateral relations in the areas of transportation, mobility services and their associated infrastructure, and ways to enhance them, were discussed.The two ministers also toured the Doha Metro project where Qatar Rail professionals briefed them on the operational processes of the stations, the technical capabilities, and the network’s operating systems.They later toured Hamad Port, visited the Hamad Port Visitor Center, and were also briefed by Mwani Qatar professionals on the operational processes of the port’s facilities, terminals, as well as the strategy of the commercial ports, their expansions and contribution to the national economy.Bahraini Ambassador in Doha H.E. Mohammed bin Ali Al Ghatam and the delegation accompanying H.E. Minister Al Khalifa participated in the two tours.
