The MOT’s attended the 1st GA of the International Organization for Marine Aids to Navigation (IALA) in Singapore.

The meeting, attended by MOT’s Assistant Undersecretary of Maritime Transport Affairs, Dr. Saleh bin Fetais Al Marri, discussed topics of navigational aids and maritime safety.

Members of the 1st Executive Board were also elected. This is IALA’s inaugural GA since becoming an intergovernmental organization (IGO) in Aug. 2024, following the entry into force of the Convention on the Int’l Organization for Marine Aids to Navigation.
