Requesting for a license to conduct the activity of a land transport agent for hazardous materials
General Provisions
It is prohibited to operate any means of land transportation except after obtaining a license from the Land Transport Licensing Department at the Ministry of Transport and other relevant government entities.
- The applicant must obtain approval from the Land Transport Licensing Department on the trade name and trademark of the activity.
- The licensee must apply for renewal at least 45 days before the license expires.
- The Department shall take a decision on the application within thirty (30) days from the date of submission. Failure to respond within this period shall be considered an implicit rejection. The applicant may appeal to the Minister within 30 days from notification or implicit rejection.
- The license issued under this law is personal and may not be assigned to others except with Department approval and verification of conditions for the assignee.
- In case of death of the licensee, heirs must notify the Department within 60 days with required details. Within one year, they must transfer or reissue the license; otherwise, it shall be deemed null.
- The license granted to a legal person shall be canceled in the event of its expiration for any reason.
- The license applicant must request issuance of an operating card for each land transport vehicle separately.
