Registering a Small Craft
Description:
Individuals, private sector companies, and government institutions can submit a request via Ministry of Transport's website, to register a small craft under 200 tons.
Conditions and Requirements:
Ownership documentation and documentation based on the ship condition and whether the ship is from Qatar or not.
A photocopy of the owner’s valid ID (original to be shown on-site for verification)
A photocopy of a valid Commercial Register if the owner is a company, Hukoomi or sports club (original to be shown on-site for verification)
A photocopy of the valid insurance and CRA

Yachts:
• Application Fee: 2000 QAR
• Inspection Fee at Checkpoints: 100 QAR
• Inspection Fee at Private Locations: 200 QAR
Jet Skis:
• Application Fee: 150 QAR
• Inspection Fee at Checkpoints: 100 QAR
• Inspection Fee at Private Locations: 200 QAR
Operating in Qatari Waters:
• Application Fee: 2000 QAR
Fishery:
• Application Fee: 200 QAR
• Inspection Fee at Checkpoints: 100 QAR

Ferry:
• Application Fee: 200 QAR
