The State of Qatar, represented by the Qatar Mission to the IMO, took part in the 113th Session of the International Maritime Organization Legal Committee (LEG 113), held from the 13th to the 17th of April, at the IMO offices in London.

During the session, the Qatari team underlined the importance of maritime navigation’s safety and security, particularly in critical waterways like the Strait of Hormuz, and respecting international laws and conventions regulating maritime corridors, and free navigation; something that helps enhance regional stability and maritime transportation safety.
