Qatar, S. Sudan Sign Air Services Agreement

Doha – Qatar

The State of Qatar and the Republic of South Sudan today signed an air services agreement in an event attended by Minister of Transport HE Jassim Saif Ahmed Al-Sulaiti and South Sudan’s Minister of Roads and Bridges and Acting Minister of Transport and Roads HE Simon Mijok Mijak.

Signed in the Ministry of Transport’s offices here, the agreement comes in the context of connecting Qatar with more air services agreements that open airspaces for the national carrier to fly to more destinations around the world.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Mohamed Faleh Alhajri, who is in charge of managing the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) and Capt. Subek David Dada, CEO of the South Sudan Civil Aviation Authority.

Following the signing ceremony, Ministers Al-Sulaiti and Mijak discussed ways to enhance Qatari-S. Sudanese ties in the fields of civil aviation, transportation and transportation services.
