Qatar, represented by an MOT delegation headed by the Acting Assistant Undersecretary of Land Transport Affairs Eng. Hamad Essa Abdulla, has participated in the 26th Session of the Committee on Transport and Logistics of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) in Damascus, Syria. The Committee thanked Qatar for its leadership of the previous 25th session.

The 26th Session addressed emerging topics within the transportation and logistics industry, including the role of digitalization in promoting sustainable transport, climate change, and sustainable mobility.
