MOT has wrapped up a 3-day workshop on compliance with the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS Code). Organized in conjunction with maritime experts from the UK Department for Transport and attended by several maritime specialists from concerned entities, the workshop focused on ISPS Code and harbors protection, and concluded with MOT’s Assistant Undersecretary, Maritime Transport Affairs, Dr. Saleh bin Fetais Al Marri awarding certificates to its attendees.

The workshop comes in the context of Ministry’s interest in sharpening maritime specialists’ skillsets and expertise.
