Doha-Qatar
The MOT has held a briefing session on the Digital Transformation Office for the Transport & Logistics Sector. The event was attended by several leaderships, experts, and specialists from numerous entities concerned with the execution of the National Strategy for Logistic Services Sector (Transportation & Warehousing).

The session focused on the Office’s digital initiatives, including the Digital Logistics Portal that aims at bringing together the government and private logistics services into one integrated digital platform with a unique user experience with world-class standards.

The Portal aims at enhancing operational efficiency, more accuracy and speed, and empowering the private sector to benefit from advanced digital markets and interfaces that open broader horizons toward more trade opportunities.

The Portal, which is unifying the databases of the transportation and logistics services industry, is ultimately becoming an accurate and reliable reference for decisionmakers and efficiently supporting future policies and plans.

This comes as the MOT continues accelerating digital transformation in the transportation, logistics services, and warehousing industry, consistent with the NDS3, the National Strategy for Logistic Services Sector, and Qatar’s Digital Agenda 2030.

Discussions at the session revolved around activating the Portal, identifying each entity’s roles and responsibilities, collecting technical and operational requirements, and making the Portal in harmony with the national priorities, thereby reflecting a spirit of collaboration and shared responsibility.
