The Ministry of Transport has opened the new Maritime Vessel Registration Office in Al Ruwais to provide all the necessary services of vessel registration and registration renewal. Several officials representing Qatari maritime transportation industry witnessed the office inauguration.

This comes within the framework of the Ministry's plans to enhance the services provided to the public in the maritime transport sector through external maritime vessel registration offices, with the aim of bringing services closer to the public and facilitating their access. 

It should be noted that the Ministry has also maritime vessel registration offices in both Al Khor and Old Doha Port, in addition to the main office at the Ministry’s headquarters.
