HE the Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim Saif Ahmed Al-Sulaiti has held discussions in with his Chinese counterpart HE Minister Li Xiopeng during a business trip to Beijing. The ministers discussed a number of issues of common interest between Qatar and China in the field of transportation and mobility and means of further enhancing them, as well as the possibility of benefiting from potential investment opportunities in both countries.

While in China, the Minister also headed Qatar’s delegation to the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, a major international conference aimed at expanding relationships between Asia, Africa and Europe in the field of transport infrastructure.
