Minister Meets with Spain Development Minister

HE Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim Saif Ahmed Al-Sulaiti met with Spanish Development Minister HE Mr. José Luis Ábalos, in Montreal, Canada, today. The Ministry of Development of Spain is responsible for executing government policies in land, maritime and air transport infrastructure and planning and regulating transportation services.
The two ministers discussed aspects of cooperation in the fields of transportation, mobility and ports and means of further enhancing them. They initially agreed to sign MoUs on these fields during the coming period.
They also discussed potential investment opportunities and a number of matters of common interest between the two friendly countries.
The meeting was attended by Qatar’s Ambassador to Canada HE Mr. Saud bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Chairman HE Mr. Abdulla bin Nasser Turki Al Subaey.
