Minister Meets with Maldivian Transport Minister

HE Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim Saif Ahmed Al-Sulaiti held talks in Montreal, Canada, today, with the Maldivian Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation HE Aishath Nahula, on the sidelines of his participation in the meetings of the 40th Session of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) General Assembly.
The two ministers discussed aspects of cooperation in the fields of transportation and civil aviation and means of further enhancing them. They also discussed potential investment opportunities in these areas, in addition to a number of matters of common interest between the two friendly countries.
Qatar’s Ambassador to Canada HE Mr. Saud bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Chairman HE Mr. Abdulla bin Nasser Turki Al Subaey attended the meeting.
