Minister Meets with Italian Economic Development Minister

Minister of Transport and Communications HE Jassim Saif Ahmed Al-Sulaiti met with Italian Minister of Economic Development HE Giancarlo Giorgetti.
Held at the offices of the Ministry of Economic Development of Italy, the meeting discussed aspects of cooperation between the two friendly countries in the fields of information and communications technology (ICT), and smart cities, and the possible benefiting from investment opportunities available in the field of communications and transportation. The two officials also discussed business opportunities available for Italian firms in the field of ICT infrastructures in Qatar, in addition to several other matters of common interest.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Italy HE Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki.
