Minister of Transport H.E. Jassim Saif Ahmed Al-Sulaiti met in New Delhi with Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways of The Republic of India H.E. Shri Sarbananda Sonowal.
The two ministers reviewed Qatar-India cooperation ties in the areas of commercial ports and discussed ways to enhance bilateral economic partnership in maritime navigation services. At the meeting, the two sides agreed on expanding the scope of the network of navigation lines that connect Hamad Port with India, and which currently stand at six seaports in India: Mundra, Kandla, Cochin, Tuticorin, Nhava Sheva and Hariza.
