Minister Meets with Central African Republic Transport Minister

Minister of Transport and Communications HE Jassim Saif Ahmed Al-Sulaiti met with the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation of the Central African Republic HE DJONO-AHABA Herbert Gontran, at Ministry offices today.
The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation in the fields of transportation and civil aviation services and ways of further enhancing them, in addition to discussing several topics that interest the two friendly countries.
Following the meeting, the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) initialed an air services agreement with the Central African Republic National Authority of Civil Aviation (ANAC).
They also signed an MoU in the field of air transportation between the two sides, allowing the national carrier to operate any number of passenger or cargo flights with full transportation rights.
The agreement and the MoU were signed by CAA Chairman HE Mr. Abdulla bin Nasser Turki al-Subaiey and Director General of ANAC HE Mr. François Edly Follot.
