Minister Holds Talks with Italian Minister of Economic Development

HE Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti held talks with HE the Italian Minister of Economic Development Mr. Carlo Calenda.
The two officials discussed aspects of cooperation between the two friendly countries in the fields of communications, smart cities, e-commerce and cybersecurity. Mr. Calenda is in charge of the communications sector in Italy.
The two officials also agreed to prepare two memos of understanding in the fields of smart cities and cybersecurity.
They also discussed the potential investment opportunities available in both countries in the field of communications, and a number of matters of common interest.
The meeting was attended by HE Mr. Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Italy.
