Minister Holds Talks with ICAO Secretary General

Doha – Qatar
HE Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim Saif Ahmed Al-Sulaiti met with the Secretary General of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Dr. Fang Liu, at the Ministry offices today.
The meeting discussed Qatar’s nomination for the ICAO Council and latest developments regarding civil aviation. The two officials also discussed means of enhancing cooperation between Qatar and ICAO.
At the meeting, HE the Minister appreciated the role ICAO plays in preserving air safety and security.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of Qatar’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) HE Mr. Abdulla bin Nasser Turki Al Subaey.
