The State of Qatar is participating in the Future Aviation Forum, which opened in Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, today, under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud. The Qatari delegation is headed by Minister of Transport H.E. Jassim Saif Ahmed Al-Sulaiti.
The opening ceremony was attended by several transportation ministers, civil aviation authority chiefs from the participating countries, airline and airport presidents, CEOs of aircraft manufacturing companies, and renowned global investors.
Themed 'Elevating Global Connectivity', the 3-day Forum attracted nearly 5000 civil aviation leaders and experts from over 120 countries, who will discuss multiple key topics, including enhancing the environmental sustainability of civil aviation industry, advanced air mobility, elevating global connectivity, and meeting the industry’s most critical challenges.
