Minister Heads Qatar Delegation to 32nd Session of IMO Assembly

The State of Qatar attended the opening session of the 32nd Session of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Assembly, held at IMO headquarters in London today. The Qatari delegation was headed by Minister of Transport HE Jassim Saif Ahmed Al-Sulaiti, and includes the Director of International Organizations Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), HE Ambassador Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri.
The 32nd Assembly Session meetings discuss the issues relating to maritime navigation’s safety and security and marine environment protection. The Session will also see the IMO Council elections.
