Minister of Transport H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Mohammed Al Thani met with the Secretary of State for Transport in the Government of the UK H.E. Heidi Alexander, on the sidelines of the 34th Session of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Assembly, in London.

Cooperation relations between the two friendly countries in transportation and the industry services and activities, and ways to enhance them, were discussed, in addition to latest global developments in terms of enhancing maritime safety, protecting the marine environment, and facilitating global maritime navigation.

H.E. Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the UK, Ireland, and Iceland, and Qatar’s Permanent Representative to the IMO, attended the meeting.
