The 4th edition of the IATA World Financial Symposium (WFS) opened in Doha today, patronized and attended by Minister of Transport HE Jassim Saif Ahmed Al-Sulaiti. Several senior executives and financial leaders from the aviation industry attended the events of the first day.

Minister Al-Sulaiti said he was pleased for Doha’s hosting of the 4th edition of IATA WFS, which brings together top financial leaders from the aviation industry for the first time since Covid-19 pandemic began.

IATA WFS, he added, represents an exceptional platform to discuss the status quo of aviation market, aiming to come up with some worthwhile ways that are based on innovation and creativity to address current and future challenges through enhancing close and fruitful cooperation among all parties. He also praised IATA’s significant efforts to joining forces toward safe and sustainable air transportation.

The two-day symposium is featuring over 50 expert speakers across the airline and financial sectors, discussing strategic topics relative to the industry’s financial outlook and future sustainability.
