HE Minister Meets with IMO Secretary-General

HE Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti held talks with the Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), Mr. Kitack Lim, at IMO’s premises in London Today.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations between Qatar and IMO in the field of marine transport industry and means of further enhancing and developing them.
The two officials also discussed Qatar’s backing of Council membership nominations from countries that show compliance and application of all IMO and UN maritime laws and agreements, at the IMO’s 30th General Assembly elections.
The meeting was attended by Qatar’s Ambassador to the UK HE Mr. Yousef bin Ali Al Khater.
