HE Minister Meets with ICAO Secretary General

HE Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim Saif Ahmed Al-Sulaiti held a meeting with the Secretary-General of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Dr. Fang Liu, at the Organization’s premises in Montreal.
At the meeting, HE the Minister gave an explanation of the current situation. An official request to open a permanent office for the Qatari Civil Aviation Authority at ICAO was submitted during the meeting, as well.
HE the Minister hailed what ICAO is doing to preserve aviation’s safety and security and flexibility of movement and for ICAO’s immediate approval to open a permanent office for Qatar at the Organization.
The meeting was attended by the Qatari Ambassador to Canada Mr. Fahad Mohammed Yousif Kafood and Chairman of Qatar’s Civil Aviation Authority HE Mr. Abdullah bin Nasser Turki Al-Subaey.
