HE Minister Holds Talks with President of the ICAO Council

HE the Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti on Friday met with President of the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Dr. Olumuyiwa Benard Aliu.
During the meeting, which was held at the ICAO premises in Montreal, HE the Minister of Transport and Communications gave a presentation on aviation safety, in light of the siege imposed on the State of Qatar and its impact not only on Qatar, but on the global system of civil aviation and security.
He also called on ICAO to fulfill its responsibilities in this regard, with emphasis on the State of Qatar's respect for the Chicago Convention and its annexes as well as for the international civil aviation agreements.
HE the Chairman of Qatar Civil Aviation Authority Abdullah Nasser Turki Al Subaey and HE Qatar's Ambassador to Canada Fahad Mohammed Youssef Kafood attended the meeting.
