A State of Qatar delegation headed by HE Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim Saif Ahmed Al-Sulaiti is participating in the International E-Commerce Conference 2017, which opened today in Turkey.
The conference was inaugurated by HE Turkish Minister of Transport, Marine Affairs and Communications Mr. Ahmet Arslan and the Director General of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) Bishar A. Hussein.
The two-day conference attracts several ministers and decision makers who will discuss hot topics relevant to e-commerce industry such as marketing, payment platforms, and customer service.
The event features multiple sessions for industry leaders representing e-commerce, logistics services and funding companies in addition to academics and postal service operators.
The event provides a great opportunity for sharing experiences and information, finding common solutions to common problems and negotiating the ways of collaboration occasions. Speakers and attendees at this event include industry leaders from e-commerce, logistics, finance companies, academics and postal service operators.
Stimulating digital innovation across the economy, the digital strategies and policies for strengthening digital commerce and digital transformation are among several interesting topics on the agenda.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by HE Qatar's Ambassador to Turkey Salem bin Mubarak Al Shafi.
