Four Ministers Listen to Families of Autistic Children
HE Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti said Qatar pays a great attention to people of disabilities and works on fulfilling their needs by providing all the services. The aim is not only to integrate them into the society but also discover and benefit from their capabilities.
This came at the closing session of the Second National Autism Forum held on October 9-11 at Hilton Doha under the slogan “Challenges and Achievements.” The forum was organized by the Qatar Assistive Technology Center (Mada) for the Qatar Autism Families Association.
HE Minister Al Sulaiti said the forum being attended by four ministers is the clearest proof the State of Qatar is paying a great attention to the disabled.
In addition to HE Minister Al Sulaiti, the closing session was attended by Ministers Dr. Hanan Al Kuwari of Public Health and Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Wahed Al-Hammadi of Education and Higher Education, as well as the representative of HE Minister of Culture and Sports Salah bin Ghanem bin Nasser Al Ali.
