Cabinet Takes Measures to Issue Draft Law on Land Transport

HE the Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani yesterday chaired the ordinary session of the Cabinet at the Amiri Diwan.
The session welcomed the outcome of the official visit of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to France from July 5 to 7.
The Cabinet then took the necessary measures to issue some draft laws, after reviewing the recommendations of the Advisory Council; one of them is centered around regulating land transport.
The other draft law is on road transport of hazardous substances. The Cabinet also approved its draft decision to amend the regulation of some units of the Ministry of Transport and Communications and appointing its specializations. It also approved the suggestion of the Ministry regarding the national program to facilitate air transport.
