Minister of Transport H.E. Jassim Saif Ahmed Al-Sulaiti today witnessed the signing of an air services Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the State of Qatar and Afghanistan. The MoU is increasing air traffic rights between the two countries.
The MoU comes in the context of connecting the State of Qatar with more air services agreements, allowing for its national carrier to expand its network of destinations around the world.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Mohammed Faleh Al-Hajri, in charge of managing the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority, and Mr. Mula Abdul Salam Haidari, Deputy Minister of Transport and Aviation of the Afghanistan caretaker government.
Minister Al-Sulaiti and Mr. Haidari discussed bilateral cooperation ties in the areas of civil aviation and transportation, as they met following the MoU signing ceremony.
