Minister of Transport H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Mohammed Al Thani met with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Council President H.E. Salvatore Sciacchitano, on the sidelines of the High-Level Ministerial Segment held during the ICAO Security Week 2024 (ICAO SEC 2024) in Muscat, Oman.

In addition to enhancing Qatar-ICAO relations in civil aviation, the two officials discussed several key topics relating to aviation’s security and cybersecurity, as well as topics that interest the two sides.

Mr. Mohammed Faleh Al-Hajri, in charge of managing the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority, and ICAO Secretary General Mr. Juan Carlos Salazar were in attendance.
