The Ministry of Transport is the official sponsor of the 3rd Qatar Supply Chain Management Conference (SCMC), organized by Dar Al Sharq Group. This came at a press conference today, where more details were also revealed about the event’s program and sessions.
The MOT’s sponsorship of this event is aligned with its strategic plans aimed at developing the transportation system and providing the logistics services necessary for the supply chains, thereby enhancing the secure and safe importation and exportation of goods and commodities and supporting the national economy and trade exchange, Mr. Hamad Ali Al-Marri, Land Transport Licensing Department Director, MOT, said at the briefing.
The event aims to gather the relevant parties and experts for dialogue, discussions and the exchange of views and insight on the latest developments related to the supply chains industry.
Key topics include the supply chains in Qatar and the achievements and challenges, the role of digital transformation in facilitating supply chains and securing the flow of goods against global challenges, and examples of best global practices, including green practices.
