Minister Meets with Senegal Air Transport Minister

Montreal - Canada Minister of Transport H.E. Jassim Saif Ahmed Al-Sulaiti met with Minister of Air Transport of the Republic of Senegal H.E. Doudou Ka, on the sidelines of their participation in the 41st ICAO Assembly. The two ministers reviewed cooperation ties and ways to enhance them in the fields of air transportation services and civil aviation. They also discussed boosting cooperation to new horizons in the areas of training and technical capacity building. International Organizations Department Director, MOFA, H.E. Ambassador Ali bin Khalfan Al Mansouri attended the meeting.

Minister Discusses Relations with Niger, Ethiopia, Uganda

Montreal - Canada Minister of Transport H.E. Jassim Saif Ahmed Al-Sulaiti held separate meetings with his counterparts from the Republic of Niger, the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, and the Republic of Uganda, on the sidelines of Qatar’s participation in the 41st Session of the ICAO Assembly. The minister reviewed Qatar’s cooperation relations and ways to enhance them in the fields of transportation and air transportation with Niger’s Minister of Transportations H.E. Oumarou Malam Alma, Ethiopia’s Minister of Transport Mrs. Dagmawit Moges and Uganda’s Minister of Works and Transport H.E. Katumba Wamala. They also reviewed latest developments on civil aviation industry and exchanged views on matters of common interest. International Organizations Department Director, MOFA, H.E. Qatar, Belize Sign Air Services Agreement

Montreal - Canada Qatar and Belize have signed an air services agreement, which comes in the context of connecting Qatar with more such agreements that open airspaces for the national carrier to fly to more destinations around the world. The agreement was signed by Minister of Transport H.E. Jassim Saif Ahmed Al-Sulaiti and Belize’s Minister of Economy and Civil Aviation Hon. Andre Perez, on the sidelines of Qatar’s participation in the 41st Session of ICAO Assembly. After the signing ceremony, the two ministers reviewed ways to develop Qatar-Belize relations in the fields of civil aviation and transportation services.

After the signing ceremony, the two ministers reviewed ways to develop Qatar- Seychelles relations in the fields of civil aviation and transportation services.
