Park and Ride

“Park and Ride” Project – MOT’s Public Bus Infrastructure Program.

“Park and Ride” provides free parking spaces adjacent to Doha Metro stations at four new locations in Al Wakra, Al Qassar, Lusail and Education City, to encourage vehicle owners to use the modern public transportation systems to and from their destinations in less time and at a lower cost.

This will help further improve the services on public roads and at major intersections by achieving smoother traffic flow, less congestion and less carbon emissions. It also adds a significant enhancement to Qatar’s public transportation network and Doha Metro services for citizens, residents, visitors and FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 fans.
